1Introduction

1.1 This Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) sets out the terms between you and us under which you may access our website at www.praesta.com (the Website). The AUP applies to everyone who accesses or uses our Website, whether for the purpose of posting a review or otherwise. Please read this AUP carefully before using this service.

1.2 By accessing or using the Website you accept this AUP and agree to be bound by all the provisions of it, which supplement our terms of website use.

1.3 The Website is owned and operated by Praesta Partners LLP ("we", "us", "our", "Praesta"). We are a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under number OC311603 and have our registered office at 83 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ES. Our VAT number is 863 2516 25.

2Content standards

2.1 These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to our site (Contributions), and to any interactive services associated with it. The standards apply to each part of any Contribution as well as to its whole.

2.2 Contributions must:

(a) be accurate (where they state facts);

(b) be genuinely held (where they state opinions);

(c) comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted, including in particular the law of defamation and malicious falsehood.

2.3 Contributions must not:

(a) contain any email addresses, web addresses or phone numbers;

(b) exploit or otherwise take advantage of any person;

(c) be used to impersonate any person, firm or entity, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person, firm or entity;

(d) be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a public authority and/or a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;

(e) infringe any third party intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright, and trade marks;

(f) contain any material which is defamatory, obscene, offensive, threatening, abuse, vulgar, profane, hateful or inflammatory;

(g) promote discrimination based on (without limitation) race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;

(h) contain any material which could incite racial and/or religious hatred;

(i) be likely to harass, defame, upset, insult, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;

(j) invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;

(k) promote violence or sexually explicit material;

(l) advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) computer misuse.

3Suspension and termination

3.1 We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this AUP through your use of the Website. When a breach of this AUP has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.

3.2 Failure to comply with this AUP constitutes a material breach of the terms of website use upon which you are permitted to use the Website, and may result in our taking any legal action against you, including legal proceedings for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from your breach.

3.3 We may take any other action we deem appropriate and we exclude all and any liability for actions taken in response to breaches of this AUP.

4Changes to the AUP

We reserve the right to revise this AUP at any time in our sole discretion and without notice. Amendments will take effect when posted on the Website. You are expected to check the Website and (in particular) this page regularly to take notice of any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in this AUP may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Website.
